The ASUS ROG Strix Radeon RX 470 is a great card for its price, it is VR Ready and can run 1080p with 60fps. However, the card can be a pain to set up and can be untrustworthy. The card has crashed frequently and cut out after only a few hours of mining. The card can produce stuttering gameplay causing the system to require a hard shut down followed by uninstallation then reinstallation of the graphics card and driver's. It runs great for a couple of months but then would start to freeze up during games, screen flashes, and full-on blue screens after the two-year mark. Some people have experienced pantallazon negros which can be solved by undervoltage. The EVGA 500W 80+ is good enough to handle this card, however, it is doubtful that it can be used with a 300W power supply. Some games struggled causing the card to drop below 60fps. The ASUS ROG Strix Radeon RX 470 is a decent card, but users may have some issues with it causing them to troubleshoot for hours without being able to 'fix' the problem. If one wants a trustworthy card, we strongly advise them to look for another option.
