Answer: The steam escaping the door jams will bring along creosote. Creosote build up will damage your finish if not cleaned after each use. Remove the damage and coat the interior with high smoke spray oil to extend the life of your exposed metal. -

Answer: No. The smoke and other invisible fumes (carbon monoxide) are not safe to breathe. This needs to be used outdoors. If the seal around the door was improved, you could maybe justify using it in a garage with some duct work attached to the vent in the back and routed safely outside. Do not use this in an area intended for continuous occupancy. Do not use it near anything flammable or combustible. -
