I need to know if this light is 100% LED with no UV lights because the description states that it is both
svar: The Lamp in question uses LED ( LIGHT EMMI TING DIODES ) to produce an ultra violet light ( UV Light ). Standard UV lamps that are not LED use Fluorescent tubes to produce the UV Light. The result of using the LED is that it gives a much more specific wavelength of light which in turn cures the polish MUCH quicker. -

how do you turn off sensor in Gelish LED light
svar: With the light unplugged put your hand into the chamber to block the sensor-plug the light back in while you're still blocking the sensor-and that will disable the sensor for that session. It will automatically reset tho next time you plug/unplug it. Also...regarding curing the foundation base coat...if you just do 30 seconds like the balance of the coats then your nails will only last a couple days. Overcuring base coat causes shrinkage & curling up of edges & your nails just pop off! I had to call Gelish on that one! Hope this helps you out. -

svar: Had no problems with curing this brand...shellac also works well...long as coats applied are thin as followed you should not have any issues..some blogs state the only gelish should be used because other brands cause wrinkling. I have not had this issue. -

svar: Not that I know of. The reason that they don't made 2 hand because you need to UV as soon as the first hand done with polish and while the other is being work on.
