The product acts as an ice guard in cold, snowy climates and works year-round in any climate with no maintenance required. According to customer reviews, the extension kit is well made, easy to install, and works great with heavy rains. Some customers have reported that the water can splash off the grill and go all over the place, and the depth of the top of the bubbler pot is only about 4 or 5 inches from the input hole, which may cause freezing if the post hole is frozen.
