Action & Adventure Editorial Review

The Happytime Murders is a raunchy comedy featuring an ensemble cast of humans and puppets. Melissa McCarthy stars as Detective Connie Edwards, who is tasked with investigating a series of murders targeting cast members of a popular 90s TV show featuring puppets. The storyline is not very original, but the puppetry is impressive. However, the humor of the movie is all based on being crude and shocking, which may fall flat for some viewers. It's definitely not a movie for young children, but for adults looking for something different, it may be worth a watch.
