The Dietz #2000 Millennium LanternCooker is safe to use but it's more of a food heater than a cooker. The cook set that comes with it is not great. It takes time to heat food, but it will boil water. The wick is 5/8 inches wide and uses a flat wick. The cooking adapter cannot be used on the Dietz #80. The unit uses thin metal gauge which affects its stability and durability. The lantern is fuel efficient and provides a lot of light. However, the washer on the cap to the fuel tank doesn't make a complete seal and leaks when tilted. Overall, it's a good value for a long-lasting product.
