Computers & Technology Editorial Review

The "Distributed Systems: Principles and Paradigms 2nd Edition" has received mixed reviews from customers. While some praise the book for its clear explanations and coverage of important topics related to distributed systems and computer science, others criticize it for being poorly written and lacking in organization and clarity. Positive comments highlight the book as a useful resource for learning about the theory behind distributed systems, with easy-to-understand language and informative content. It is seen as a valuable reference for both beginners and advanced users in the field, with some reviewers mentioning the potential for discovering new insights upon multiple readings. On the other hand, negative feedback points out issues with the author's writing style, including abrupt changes in topics within chapters, excessive focus on problems without adequate solutions, and the use of unnecessary complex vocabulary. Additionally, the absence of review questions makes it challenging for readers to grasp the main points and takeaways from the material. Overall, while the book may offer valuable insights into distributed systems for some readers, others may struggle with its presentation and organization. It seems that individuals with varying levels of expertise in computer science may have differing opinions on the book's usefulness and readability. **
