The Nuvo Flute, Black N220JFBK, is a plastic flute with a donut head joint to make it easier to play for younger/smaller children. The flute is 100% waterproof, wider than metal flutes, and comes with a cleaning cloth, a small jar of cork grease, an alternate lip plate, and a small plastic tool with a case. The lowest note the Nuvo jFlute can play is D, and the rest of the range is almost three octaves, playing around high G/A comfortably in the third octave. Customers have reported difficulties playing low D and E, but overall, the sound is decent. It is also fully chromatic and has silicone comfort grips, which make it easy to hold. There is no music book included, but there is a paper pamphlet explaining how to assemble and clean the flute. Customers have noted that the keys operate well, and the silicone caps are comfortable. The hard carrying case is satisfactory.
