How do I assemble and paint the miniatures?

You will need modeling glue, tools, and paint, which are not included in the set. Begin by carefully removing the components from the sprue and following the instructions to connect them. For painting, priming the models first ensures better paint adherence. You can utilize a variety of paint techniques for effects such as weathering or highlighting. This not only enhances the visual appeal but also infuses your personality into the game.

What are the basic rules for playing Warhammer 40K?

The basic rules for Warhammer 40K can be found in the included rulebook in the starter set. The game is turn-based, involving strategic movement, combat, and objectives. Players use dice to determine the outcomes of actions such as attacks and saves, providing an immersive gaming experience. How do I store my miniatures safely?

Storing your Warhammer 40K miniatures properly is essential to keeping them in excellent condition. When storing, ensure the models are completely dry and avoid stacking them directly on top of one another. Labeling storage containers can help you quickly find specific miniatures for your games. Proper storage not only preserves their aesthetic appeal but also maintains your investment in the hobby over time.

What painting supplies do I need for the miniatures?

To paint your Warhammer 40K miniatures, you will need several essential supplies. These include acrylic paints, brushes of varying sizes, a palette for mixing colors, and modeling glue for assembling parts. Games Workshop Figure Kits 60040199131 Editorial Review

The Games Workshop Getting Started with Warhammer 40K kit is a great introduction to the world of Warhammer 40K. The models included in the kit are unpainted and unassembled, so you will need to put them together and paint them yourself. While the kit does not require plastic glue, using glue may be necessary for certain parts. It is recommended to have a good pair of snips or hobby knife to cut the models off the sprue. Overall, this kit is a good starting point for Warhammer 40K enthusiasts.
