The Magic Wrench is a versatile tool that can work on various bolt sizes as long as it is within the tool's size range. The jaw opens automatically with a strong pan spring and can withstand more than 100kg torque. However, the wrench may mar the bolt head, but the manufacturer suggests using a rubber plate as a cover. It can also work on stripped bolts, including circle-type bolts. While the manufacturer is developing a similar wrench with smooth jaws, users need to cover it with rubber to prevent scratches on a chrome finish. Some customers found the tool heavy, awkward and useless, and it did not grip or fit anything. It also shredded the nut, making it entirely useless for using a wrench or socket. Another drawback is that it may not stay clamped on the bolt or nut, requiring the user to make sure it's in the exact place. However, others found it to be a wonderful tool for several applications around the house and even used it to change out fuel filters and tighten bolts on cars. One customer found the tool perfect for Construction work but found that the layers of stamped metal on each end started coming apart after about ten uses in one day.
