Action & Adventure Editorial Review

The movie "Runaway Train" is an 80s action thriller directed by Akira Kurosawa. The film follows the journey of two escaped prisoners who board a freight train, only to realize that it's out of control and heading towards a collision. The high-speed thrill and suspense are guaranteed to keep the audience on the edge of their seat. The story follows a unique combination of Russian symbolism, Japanese take on Shakespeare, and Golan/Globus 80s action sleazy exploitation, making it a true masterpiece. Though some may not like the ending, the excitement and rush of the film provide for a fantastic viewing experience.
