In recent reviews, customers have shared mixed opinions about the Henckels knives set. One customer was very pleased with the knives, mentioning they were perfect for their needs and cut great. They specifically praised the serrated bread knife for its efficiency. Another customer, however, was disappointed. They received knives with thinner and lighter blades than expected, and were unhappy with the quality compared to previous sets. The fact that the knives were made in India instead of Europe was a major letdown for this customer. Another reviewer found the knives to be flimsy and not very sharp, opting to return them in favor of a set found at Costco. A different customer complained about the knives being extremely dull initially, even worse than knives they had purchased from Walmart. They managed to sharpen them to an acceptable level but were not overly impressed with the quality, especially Considering the knives were not manufactured in Germany. Some customers noted issues with the finish and handling of the knives, mentioning rough machine marks on the blades and handles, as well as broken handles. One customer expressed disappointment in the lack of sharpness, mentioning they struggled to cut through certain foods with the chef's knife. Overall, the Henckels knives set seems to have a diverse reception among Consumers. While some appreciate the quality and usefulness of the knives, others have been let down by the craftsmanship, sharpness, and manufacturing origin. **
