The joystick is recognized immediately by Microsoft FS 2020, enhancing the flying dynamics and providing a great experience. One standout aspect of the Thrustmaster Airbus Sidestick is its stability, whether placed on a surface or on your lap. The controls feel solid and highly responsive, contributing to precise control during flight. In terms of availability, the Thrustmaster Airbus Sidestick can be hard to find due to high demand. However, Walmart has proven to be reliable in notifying customers when it becomes available and selling it at the recommended price, unlike other vendors who have inflated the price. One minor drawback of the joystick is the throttle lever with reverse thrust. While it is built into the joystick, some users have found it to be not very useful due to the sensitivity of the forward and reverse power limits. It is easy to accidentally set reverse thrust, and it seems that Thrustmaster encourages users to purchase the separate thrust levers for better throttle control.
