svar: No the head can not be pointed upwards, it has very little adjustment in any direction. It is also very unstable on the stand and tends to lean. -

svar: No, it has a switch on the lead which is more than likely on the floor, it’s a foot switch. I have a smart bulb in, so ask Alexa too turn the lamp off 😉 -
