svar: I have a pair of Sony tower speakers with built in amplifier connected to the denon deck and it works perfectly. Merry Christmas. -

svar: Yes, it can. Only with the Sonos Play:5, though. But once you connect it directly to that speaker, it obviously can be played through the rest of your Sonos system. I’ve found I needed to use a separate pre-amp with it though, as without it, it was too quiet. (I have been using this turntable with my Sonos Play:5 and the rest of the system for one year now). -
