svar: Hi Rachel not sure if this will help, is the isolator switch on, mine is hard wired, I have an isolator switch too but the fan only comes on when I switch the light on if I turn the isolator switch off the. The fan doesn’t come on with light, there’s a switch inside I believe for the timer - not sure if I’ve answered your question -

svar: I REPLACED MY FAILED OLD EXPELAIR 6 INCH BATHROOM FAN WITH THE 6 INCH VERSION CUBETECH SMART LED FAN. IT WORKS WELL AS LONG AS YOUR EXISTING AS LONG THE WALL CAVITY IS THE SAME SIZE, IF THIS IS ANY HELP. -
