svar: You’d want to focus on four things, all achievable.n1. Noir camera doe infrared as thisneknt do itn2. Weatherproof enclosuren3. Reliability (power, network connection as you record to drives and maybe text yourself when it’s triggered)n4. Securing the device so it doesn’t grow legs and walk away if you know what I mean -

svar: Mine worked great out of the box! My project required me to adjust the focus however so I used a small flat head screw driver. Later I found a focus tool included in the box which would have been nice but not necessary. Once you find the focus setting you like dab a little bit of super glue on the edg -

svar: The sensor is capable of 1080p60, but the Pi itself will max out processing 1080p30. Shoot, technically the sensor is capable of 4k video, so here's looking forward to the Pi5 that can handle that too, down the road! :D -

The camera setup is easy, and the camera quality is impressive. However, some reviewers had trouble with the camera not powering up, and others complained about the shipping box being in poor condition and the camera appearing pre-used. There have been mixed experiences with the camera, with some reviewers being satisfied, others not so much.
